More than ever, it was evident how everything is rapidly changing, and how a novelty, already as you report it, threatens that it has already become “stale” or one’s habit, and as soon as you turn around, it has probably already changed. To paraphrase this with paradoxical situations from my private life. Last year we bought a tablet to my grandmother for eightieth birthday, a six-year-old niece showed me how to start something on my phone, and a neighbor, who is a big fan of Serbian delicacies, in accordance with the new lifestyle has become a vegetarian. It may sound strange and slightly ridiculous, but if you scratch beneath the surface these are just three of the myriad of challenges, both for the companies and for our industry.
The world around us isn’t the one that’s changing, it’s us who change, and who thus change the world.
For me personally, 2015 brought a lot of new knowledge through overcome challenges. A lot of new friends, good times both privately and in business, so I closed the year with a smile on my face, and I want to believe that I had contributed to the changes.
This year will certainly bring Google Glass for grandma :) . Joking aside, from 2016 I expect to be even more turbulent and challenging than the previous one, which will leave a lot of room for creativity, innovation and proactivity. Therefore, when later I look back at this year, I would like that my conclusion be – change, change and only change.
