Whether you live in an apartment in a towering block or have a home with a garden, chances are good that you’ve been disturbed by noisy neighbors at some point during the Covid-19 lockdown (usually, it seems, when you’re on an important work call).
Bose captures the realities of living in close proximity to others in a new black-and-white spot by Wunderman Thompson Dubai. The ad is running in the U.S., Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Called, “Dear Neighbor,” the spot charts the realities of living next to people who sing karaoke, vacuum after midnight, DJ, and listen to war movies with explosive surround sound. But the ribbing is offered in a good-natured way that veers in a more positive direction than you might expect.
“Dear neighbor,” the narrator says in closing, “I just want to say I’m glad to hear you’re OK.”
