The PIAF international festival of marketing and advertising closed with the Award Ceremony and a screening of the winning works. The jury composed of the world’s leading marketers and creatives gave a total of 45 prizes to 25 agencies from 10 countries. The most successful country is Russia with 20 awards and a Grand Prix, while the agencies of the host country won 5 awards.
The festival with its 2-day international conference was held in Prague for the 7th time this year.
Jury Chairman Ben Tollett, creative director adam&eveDDB London said of the competition: “To be honest, I did not exactly know what to expect, but the quality of the entries was very strong. The whole jury was amazing. It was a great three days in Prague.”
The coveted Grand Prix, as mentioned before, went to Russia. Creative agency TUTKOVBUDKOV and their client S7 Airlines took the prize with their amazing work for the OK Go – Upside Down & Inside Out #GravitysJustAHabit spot, which you must have seen already. Just in case, here’s the video.

“The competition was dominated by the Russian creative. And after two years we are once again awarding a well-deserved Grand Prix. Five campaigns were in the run, two of them from Russia. It is no coincidence, inspiration doesn’t necessarily have to come from the West,” said Marek Hlavica, Director of PIAF.
The International Advertising Festival in Prague is the largest event of its kind in Central Europe. Every year, the conference-goers get to see up to 30 mainly foreign speakers. The festival’s main focus is innovations and trends in marketing and communication. The festival is traditionally held at the National Gallery of Prague – in the Trade Fair Palace, and is attended by four hundred experts.
