The U.K.’s iNews organization is using color coding to show multiple perspectives on public figures such as Theresa May, Kim Jong Un and Donald Trump in a new print, web and outdoor campaign by the agency Atomic London.
The series of illustrations were commissioned to explore the unexpected aspects of some of the most famous people in the world, with three colors used in each image to “represent different viewpoints,” and these are aligned with “three different descriptions of the famous person’s character.”
For example, the image of Theresa May is described as “Pragmatic, Robotic, Chaotic” whilst Kim Jong Un’s list includes: “Hyperbolic, Diabolic, Chocoholic.”
The campaign will run in print, digital platforms and on prime OOH sites across London.
iNews said the campaign delivers on its promise to “highlight the newspaper’s unswerving commitment to impartiality,” with the central idea being that “readers should make up their own mind from the facts presented, rather than be influenced by an opinion in newspaper editorial.”
