This year at BalCannes, some of the best and most experienced experts in the market communications industry in the region are gathered in the expert jury. 25 members will select the best projects and the best agencies in the region, and will reward seven of them with unique awards – the BalCannes Lions.
BalCannes awards will be awarded by each of the three jury compositions: clients, journalists from the region and agencies, and thanks to this year’s unique concept of the competition, we will have the opportunity to see the separate selections of TOP 25 projects in the region of each of these three juries.
The jury of clients this year includes: Gordana Ampova, Zegin (Macedonia); Davor Čičić, Sarajevski kiseljak (Bosnia and Herzegovina); Belma Hadžiomerović, Raiffeisen banka (Bosnia and Herzegovina); Tjaša Kolenc Filipčič, Triglav (Slovenia); Lenche Karpuzovska, EVN (Macedonia); Jelena Milinkovič, Atlantic Grupa (Slovenia); Sanja Milinović, Hrvatski Telekom (Croatia); Milana Ognjenović, Telenor Banka (Serbia); Katarina Šibalić, Strauss Adriatic (Serbia) and Ivan Šuvar, Zagrebačka pivovara (Croatia).
Since the best results in the market are achieved through the synergy of the clients, the agency and the media, this year’s jury will be joined for the first time by agency representatives, including: Aljoša Bagola, Pristop (Slovenia); Vasilije Ćorluka, Saatchi&Saatchi (Macedonia); Žarko Dimitrioski, Eden na Eden (Macedonia); Miloš Đurđević, Fullhouse Ogilvy (Serbia); Bojan Hadžihalilović, Fabrika (Bosnia and Herzegovina); Petra Krulc, Grey Ljubljana (Slovenia); Sean Poropat, Studio Sonda (Croatia); Dejan Šijuk, Aquarius (Bosnia and Herzegovina); Ana Šutić, New Moment New Ideas Company (Serbia) and Daniel Vuković, McCann Zagreb (Croatia).
Joining the representatives of clients and agencies are the journalists dedicated to the advertising industry, and they are: Ivan Brezak Brkan, Netokracija (Croatia); Mladen Dakić, Dnevni avaz (Bosnia and Herzegovina); Boris Eftimovski, Marketing365 (Macedonia); Marjan Novak, Marketing magazin (Slovenia) and Ivana Parčetić Mitić, Marketing Mreža (Serbia).

Organized by HURA (Croatian Association of Communications Agencies) and Weekend Media Festival, the sixth edition of BalCannes, dedicated to the works of best regional market communication agencies, will again be held in Rovinj from 21 to 24 September, in the area of the old Tobacco Factory, as part of the three-day Weekend Media Festival which this year celebrates its tenth birthday.
