VIDEO: A NEW, FANTASTIC ADVERTISEMENT FOR CROATIA
Breathtaking landscapes and crazy fun that young people can have in Croatia if they choose to visit a world famous music festival are a central theme of this official ‘aftermovie’.
Festival of electronic music Ultra Europe, which last year was held in Split, Hvar and Brač, has published the official aftermovie which has been seen my more than 250 thousand people in less than three days.
As a reminder, more than 150,000 people visited Split, Hvar, Brač and Vis this summer, coming from almost all parts of the world, from more than 140 countries. Organizers invested in this year’s edition more than 50 million Croatian kuna (6.5 million euros), while over the three years period the investments amounted to more than 100 million kuna (13 million euros). On the other hand, it is estimated that during the festival, host cities earned as much as 500 million kuna (65 million euros).
WHAT’S BEEN COOKING IN MAD SCIENTIST’S LABORATORY?
Mad Scientist, with the help of a dangerous cyber assistant and their two assistants, these days worked on a series of experiments under the project codenamed Zver (The Beast) in order to get the perfect ROG GX700 formula.
The experiments were designed as part of the retail campaign from Asus for the first liquid-cooled gaming laptop, issued under the sub-brand the Republic of Gamers (ROG), which the members of the local gaming community call zver (the beast). Laptop which carries the badge GX700 is the ultimate gaming laptop, with unique performance, and the promotional campaign was carried out in Asus Shop at the Ušće Shopping Center and ended yesterday, Sunday.
Conceptual design and realization of the campaign came from the creative laboratory of agency M2Communications, which began its collaboration with Asus with this campaign.
GOOGLE PROMISES TO PAY MORE TAXES IN UK
Google has reached an agreement in the UK and will pay 130 million pounds in back taxes after a six-year probe into their books. Google has also promised to report more sales through its UK office in the future, rather than through their office in Dublin, Ireland, where they paid less tax until now. Internet giant, however, stresses that this should not be considered as an acknowledgment that in the past they avoided paying taxes.
Google’s headquarters for Europe is based in Ireland, where they pay significantly less tax than they would pay in the UK. This company thus in 2013 paid 20.4 million pounds in taxes, although only in the UK in the same period they realized a turnover worth 3.8 billion pounds.
MANCHESTER UNITED CHOOSES COLUMBIA SPORTSWEAR FOR THEIR OFFICIAL OUTDOOR CLOTHING
Football club Manchester United has chosen a US manufacturer of outdoor apparel Columbia Sportswear as their new sponsor, and further strengthened its list of global partners on the way to the top of the richest clubs list. Clothing with both logos will appear on the market in the fall of 2016, and will include equipment for hiking, climbing, water sports, snow sports etc.
COORS LIGHT TREATS NEW YORKERS WITH CUSTOM MUSIC FOR DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE TOWN
Coors Light is beginning to test their new digital interactive ad campaign in New York, in which passers-by are offered to listen to music specifically selected for various parts of the city on their mobile devices. In cooperation with mobile app Shazam and outdoor marketing shop Intersection, manufacturer MillerCoors will collect data on the music people listen in certain parts of New York, and will offer customized real-time play lists through special Coors Light branded kiosks.
