Imagine sitting in a bus stop, waiting for the bus to stop, and suddenly you notice a gruesome image – a human being incubated in plastic container on the side of the bus stop. You realize it’s just an ad, and breathe a sigh of relief, but then you notice that the ad did the same – it breathes!?
This unsettling stunt with a real-life looking mannequin in a plastic bag was installed at a west Hollywood bus stop, and is designed to promote Netflix’s new show, Altered Carbon, that deals with the near future and how people might battle mortality.
Love it or hate it, there’s no denying that this attracts attention, and has already been given quite a media coverege in the US.
