Sixth Salon of Excellence in Belgrade

Visitors will have the chance to see and touch some of the most prestigious luxury brands of today, but also to meet and talk to their creators

Salon of Excellence is the most prestigious conference in Southeast Europe dedicated to the industry of luxury, high-end brands and masters of products characterized by the most exquisite handiwork. It is held in partnership with The Economist magazine and web portal luxlife.rs

For the sixth time in Belgrade, within the 24 Hours of Elegance event, on 10 September Belgraders are invited to Belgrade Waterfront’s spectacular hall, where they will have the opportunity to see and touch some of the most prestigious luxury brands today, but also to meet and talk to their creators, those who make the exclusive niche intended for the most demanding clients.

Considering that despite the various crises in recent years, the industry of luxury still shows very good sales, we should ask how and what they are doing that makes them sought and valued for decades, and some of the brands even over a century. The answer will come on Saturday, 10 September, from 15 to 17 hours at the Belgrade Waterfront, where visitors can expect panelists who will talk Aleksandar Đorđević, presenting DeGorsi Luxury Consulting, and try to bring you closer to the industry of luxury, the businesses that belong to it, but also some, perhaps unexpected segments that make it, such as classic cars, supercars’ applied design, and contemporary art.

At the conference and exhibition of luxury items, following panelists from the industry of luxury will present the prestigious maisons:

ZENITH – exclusive watches, which this year will present their new luxury models. The special partnerships and the state of the industry of luxury watches will be discussed by the Communications Director Vincent Steinmann.

A.CARACENI – top quality suits, tailored and hand sewn – a company from Milan that for half a century now is synonymous with male elegance will be presented by maestro Carlo Andreacchio

SINISCALCHI – the finest tailored shirts – which will be presented by Alessandro Siniscalchi from Milan, a man who puts his shirts on some of the most powerful people in the world.

CHIVAS – the most respected whiskey in the world will present their latest blend CHIVAS REGAL Extra with the presentation by the international brand ambassador Ken Lindsay.

RIVOLTA – one of the oldest manufacturers of custom-made shoes from Milan, whose owner Fabrizio Rivolta, Maestro of perfect men’s shoes, continues the centuries-old tradition.

LANIFICIO F.lli Cerruti – will present the latest precious fabrics by which this manufacturer is known around the world. Director of Marketing Piero Antonini will show some of the latest materials for suits, which make the offer of this exceptional producer owned by the famous designer Nino Cerruti.

BONATO MILANO 1960 – Giuseppe Sorgentone, designer of luxury, precious jewelry will present his most exclusive collection.

Exclusively for 24 Hours of Elegance, the world renowned design house Italdesign, formerly part of the company Giugiaro, will present a prototype of the future €1.5 million supercar model in the form of 1:5, which represents Italdesign Concept Rebel, a car which will be created per customer’s wishes in every detail. Special guest will be Filippo Perini, Italdesign’s Head of Design and one of the most respected automotive designers of the world, who gained fame working for Lamborghini.

GIANLUCA MIGLIAROTTI, the celebrated Italian director known for his state of the art films that represent the elite masters of hand-made, this year comes with his latest work, Driving Dreams

LOPRESTO COLLECTION, Europe’s most prized collection of classic cars, with unique and invaluable models of superior design, which will be presented by its owner Duccio Lopresto.

A collector of contemporary art Slobodan Nešović will present his view on investing in the Serbian contemporary art and will present the project Nešović Fine Arts Galleries.

The conference will be followed by the ABSOLUT vodka cocktail.

Later in the program, in Belgrade Waterfront, from 18 to 19 hours, in order to further promote Serbia, Belgrade and Serbian contemporary art, 24 Hours of Elegance, in cooperation with Nešović Fine Arts, will present the latest segment of the event called the Initiative for the Serbian Contemporary Art, within which the curator Ksenija Marinković will present the selection of top works of contemporary artists from Serbia, which through mediation of this gallery became part of private collections – Uroš Djurić, Marija Dragojlović, Bojan Bem, Petar Mirković and Milorad Mića Stajčić.
