Retail chain Aldi has launched their 2018 Christmas campaign, returning their cute Kevin the Carrot who this time drives a holiday themed truck, which irrestistably reminds of Coca-Cola’s iconic Truck.
The spot ends in a litteral cliffhanger and a call to action, as the truck drives over a mountain pass it gets hit by an avalanche, causing its trailer to swerve over the edge of a cliff.
As the truck hangs, we are also left to „hang in the air“, and wonder what will happen. The spot ultimately delivers the hashtag #SaveKevin, indicating that the company wil release this year’s holiday campaign in episodes.
