Agency FCB Inferno, which created the award-winning campaign “This Girl Can”, has prepared its sequel in which they encourage older women to exercise.
Client for the campaign, UK government’s organization Sport England, concluded that women avoid physical exercise primarily because they fear being mocked and ridiculed. The new campaign, in addition to the target group of women between 14 and 40 years, will also address older women in particular.
According to Sport England, this time they have focused on those stages in the life of a woman when physical exercise is particularly challenging.
“Most women feel uneasy during exercise. We feel uncomfortable when we start and finish, while we hesitate and when we don’t look perfect. Women in the campaign let us know that this is normal and that’s why we’ve created characters with whom women around the world can identify,” said Jennie Price, executive director of Sport England.
Television ad will start broadcasting during February, and the campaign will be transferred to social media and outdoor.
