McCann Zagreb and Fahrenheit started another year with a new creative work – campaign “HEPI grandpa vlogger”, which was conceived as a sequel to the first campaign for Hepi. The lead role was again entrusted to the famous actor from Šibenik Mate Gulin, who became a kind of ambassador for Hepi.
In the first campaign, grandpa Mate is presented as a real grouch obsessed with reading electricity meters, calculating spending and paying bills on time, but in the new wave of campaign he’s a changed person, because he recognized all the advantages of Hepi and has decided to share his positive experience with others through his video blog. Hepi is all about extreme simplicity, which is unique in the market and people still see it as somewhat abstract. In his video blog, from the cozy armchair in his home, grandpa Mate monitors electricity consumption with mHepi app, and pays the cheapest electricity bills with his credit cards (and all sorts of other things).
“It was grandpa Mate with his charm and experience who made our communication into a real little masterpiece,” says the agency, and since grandpa Mate is very adept at explaining and video blogging, it will soon become clear to everyone that “Hepi from HEP is the best and the most favorable choice.”
The creative concept is signed by chief creative directors Hrvoje Škurla and Daniel Vuković. Art Direction was in the hands of Krešimir Grancarić, the role of creative director went to Goran Božić, and project managers were Iva Šimunović and Saša Ivan. Production was done by production company Švenk and recording took place under the direction of Bruno Anković.
Below you can see the results of this collaboration, and experience firsthand how skilled grandpa Mate is at explaining and video blogging:
