Ledo exports a third of its total production to about twenty foreign markets, including Azerbaijan. Exactly for the purposes of this market, Ledo these days in Zagreb recorded a promotional spot with the football coach of Azerbaijan and former national team player of Croatia Robert Prosinecki, for premium ice cream Ledo King.
“For the past five years Ledo and its products are present in the market of Azerbaijan, where more and more customers are recognizing the quality of Ledo ice cream. We wanted therefore to collaborate with someone who will present Ledo as a Croatian brand. Cooperation with Robert Prosinecki, who is very popular in Azerbaijan and a big fan of Ledo ice cream, proved to be a winning combination. We are very pleased with the cooperation with the football legend and we are sure that the international success of the popular football coach will contribute to the further development of Ledo brand in this market,” said Ana Štebih, director of marketing and development at Ledo.
Head coach of the Azerbaijan national team also didn’t hide his satisfaction: “We all grew up with Ledo ice cream and enjoy them even today, so I was honored to be the face of such a great brand and, thus represent Croatia in Azerbaijan. It didn’t take them long to persuade me because I’m a huge fan of Ledo ice cream. My personal favorites are King ice creams, and I shared the love of this ice cream with my football team,” said Robert Prosinecki, and in a good mood, he added: “With an excellent crew and a lot of laughter, we had really great time on the set.”
In addition to significant success in Azerbaijan, Ledo in recent years made significant progress in exports to other exotic markets such as the United Arab Emirates, Libya and Dubai. In terms of quantities, other important export markets for Ledo are Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary and Slovenia, followed by Norway and the United States.
