adidas Originals won two Gold and two Bronze Lions at the Cannes Festival of Creativity for the Future campaign, which speaks a lot about the dedicated work of this brand that leaves the confines of the industry to shape the culture at large, just like Originals.
The first Gold, Entertainment Lion for Music, which is presented this year for the first time, adidas won for Best Music/ Brand Partnership. The second, in Film, came for Best Use of Original Music.
The Bronze were in Design for their strike-through device and secondly in Music Videos for Best Brand/Product Integration.
In the Festivals’ own words: “New for 2016, Lions Entertainment explores the ways talent and storytelling can elevate content into the cultural mainstream. It will unpick issues that are preventing progress and celebrate the work finding the way forward. Lions Entertainment is a new event at Cannes Lions where brands, agencies and entertainment companies can focus on producing outstanding creative work together.”
