REPRESENT COMMUNICATIONS AT POMP FORUM: ARE INFLUENCERS STILL NEEDED?
Influencers have been a hot topic for all marketers for quite some time, especially because they are becoming an indispensable spice in the mix that agencies use in the realization of campaigns for clients. How to properly manage influencers and get the best out of what they offer – the impact on their community of followers – was one of the topics presented by Represent Communications’ Marija Mijatović from Belgrade at the POMP content marketing conference in Ljubljana. By using a number of examples from practice, Marija came up with conclusions about how to choose influencers, types of campaigns that are most effective and the criteria that should be used as guidelines when it comes to the content that influencers create for companies and brands.
Professionalism, the ability to adapt their content to the needs of brands, without compromising the content that is typical for them, are just some of the criteria for selecting influencers. Although confidence in influencers is fleeting, consumers still trust them in comparison to traditional marketing channels of promotion, and are therefore unavoidable in major promotional campaigns.

LAVAZZA: WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF COFFEE WAS TO DISSAPPEAR?
Imagine a world without coffee in which our everyday life would be turned upside down. A world in which there would no longer be a cure for drowsiness, no excuse for a brief break, no coffee breaks with friends, and most importantly – a world in which there would be no work for hipsters. On the occasion of this year’s International Coffee Day (Sunday, 1 October), Lavazza imagined one such terrifying scenario in an unusual video that they share on their official Facebook page.
However, fortunately for coffee lovers around the world, this horrible concept is just a fantasy. Drinking a simple espresso or a cup of coffee is a sacred social ritual in which Lavazza has been a leader since its foundation in Turin, Italy in 1895.
