The Swiss Entrepreneurship Program will host a reputable Australian marketing expert, Damian Damjanovski from 6 to 29 September, who will work with organizations and companies in Serbia through a series of mentoring sessions and open-type events.
During his stay in Belgrade, he will work with Serbian startups and organizations that support them such as Impact Hub and ICT Hub. In addition, he will take the role of a mentor for the companies in the competition for the Social Impact Award, whom he will advise on how to improve their business and better understand the market.
More than a decade ago Damian found his calling in the world of advertising, working as a digital strategist for the largest marketing agencies in Australia, including BMF Advertising and Ogilvy and Mather. In its rich portfolio there are a number of well-known companies such as Samsung, Coca-Cola, Qantas, American Express, Fujifilm, KFC. He is the creator of many worldwide brand campaigns, including the “Share a Coke”, one of the most successful global campaigns ever.
Entrepreneurs in Serbia already had the opportunity to listen to his lecture at the Impact Hub, where he shared the Growth Hacking techniques and metrics relevant to start-up growth. The Startup Growth Meetup is intended for entrepreneurs, founders of companies, directors, business developers and other experts who are planning or have already launched their own company. Over 30 participants gathered in a two-hour event where they had the opportunity to hear tips and get answers to questions about advertising and marketing for startups.
Damjanovski is staying in Serbia within the framework of the Swiss Enterprise Program, supported by the Swiss government, one of the goals of which is entrepreneurship development through interaction with experts from around the world.
