As a leading insurance company in Bosnia and Herzegovina, UNIQA Insurance this year wanted to launch an educational campaign on life insurance, different from all the others before. It had to be really animating and entertaining.
Communis, a marketing agency from Sarajevo, accepted the challenge and offered the idea of short video tutorials with entertaining, humorous content that would retain the attention of viewers to watch the video until the very end and listen to the UNIQA Insurance employee talk about different aspects and all the benefits of life insurance.
A play with words in the slogan “Laka priča o osiguranju” (“Easy talks of insurance”) is a combination of a relaxed tone of communication with the name of one of the most popular Bosnian singers – Elvir Laković Laka (lako means easy in Bosnian), author of many songs that for years now attract Bosnian-Herzegovinian public with their distinct style. In a very humorous way Laka talks about different types of life insurance in three videos. As a “little boy”, a “grown man” and a “retiree”. Laka treats the topic of life insurance, which is usually misperceived in the public, in a lighthearted and humorous way.
In addition, this concept is followed by a Facebook quiz, made in the same humorous tone. Next to the hilarious and absurd answers, the real one will surely stand out.
Such educational campaign for UNIQA life insurance is the first of its kind in this region, and has in some way broken the ice, becoming an example to all other companies that want to achieve their campaigns not only be listened, but truly heard – and remembered.
From the very beginning the campaign started yielding practical results. Laka did not only tell the story of insurance, he also realized its great benefits, and has made a one-time paid ten years insurance policy with UNIQA.
