Natalie Kerris is leaving Twitter after just six months in the role of vice president of communications.
“During her time leading communications at Twitter, Natalie helped us share the Twitter story with the world,” according to a statement received by Adweek. “We are grateful for her energy and enthusiasm and the impact she’s had, even in this short time. We wish her all the best.”
Kerris, who joined Twitter in February, had spent the majority of her career with Apple, where she helped launch a number of flagship products such as the iPhone, iPad and the Apple Watch before retiring last April. After less than a year, she joined Twitter after the social network’s co-founder Jack Dorsey returned as CEO.
According to a spokesperson, the company’s communications team will report to Chief Marketing Officer Leslie Berland. Berland is also new to Twitter, having recently joined the company in January.
