After the excellent harvest and carefully conducted rest, Goldbreg graševina vintage 2015 is ready to hit the market. The most awarded Croatian Riesling, which comes from the Goldberg location at the top of Ban’s hill in Baranja, is famous for its harmony, elegance and complexity provided by the regular and late harvest of Riesling, but also the terroir of the Croatian Danube region.
Goldberg or the Golden Hill location is one of the sunniest positions in Baranja’s vineyards, turned completely to the south, where the grapes are harvested by hand and in various stages of maturation.
Goldberg Riesling has been reaffirming its quality and excellence year after year with gold medals and awards for quality at the prestigious global festivals of wine, which is why the local wine critics call it Graševina with the most awards, and Vina Belje one of the most important wine producers in Adria region.
Goldberg graševina, vintage 2015, seduces with its aroma and fullness of taste. Its aromatic layers are reflected in the expressive fragrant fruity composition, dominated by ripe fruit. The wine is semi-dry, creamy, rich and complex, with a slight almond bitterness in the end that gives away the Baranja grown Riesling.
Thanks to its strong taste, Goldberg Riesling is an ideal companion to the rich and refined dishes, and its complexity is best expressed with foie gras and roasted duck and sweet bites of local cream-filled pastries.
