At this year’s Eventiada IPRA Golden World Awards 2017, held in Moscow, the Jameson Secret Event project won the third place in the Event of the Year category. Along with Jameson, other runners for the prestigious award were Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) for the KFC Battle, LEGO Star Wars event, Eurasian Orthopedic Forum, Vekovoy festival, Holidays in Saint-Petersburg and City project PRONoyabrsk.
“It is a great thing to win this award competing with the projects from the largest markets and from all over Eastern Europe. To be recognized by IPRA is a goal of all public relations professionals. It was especially interesting to see the works from the Russian market – the concepts are similar to those applied in our region, but the execution of campaigns is more complicated because of the incomparably bigger market,” said Krešimir Dominić, Director of Planning and Development at the Komunikacijski laboratorij.
Criteria that winning works had to fulfil are compliance with international standards, innovativeness in approach, quality in research, planning and execution and the results achieved. Jameson Secret Event also won the Croatian Attend Award at the RSVP Festival last year.
Winning projects were selected by the international IPRA GWA jury composed of international members of the IPRA committee with IPRA president Bartom de Vries as the president of the jury.
Eventiada Awards is one of the largest communications competitions in Eastern Europe, which since 2011 celebrates international projects implemented by the largest global brands and leading companies from various countries in Eastern and South Eastern Europe. This year, Eventiada Awards became the regional partners of the largest global trade association in this field, IPRA, and the IPRA Golden World Awards in Russia, Eastern and Southeastern Europe.
