Instead of standard business gifts and greeting cards, agencies Luna TBWA and OMD for this year’s holidays decided to offer clients, business partners, associates and friends a copy of the magazine Liceulica, which for seven years now contributes significantly to the social and economic inclusion of the most vulnerable groups in society by offering them jobs, support and encouragement.
On that occasion, director of Luna TBWA and OMD, Iva Đurković, said: “New Year is the moment when we look back at the results achieved, and make plans for the time ahead. We believe that each of us has the responsibility to do as much as possible for the community we live in, making it better not only for ourselves, but also for the greater number of people who share the environment with us. We are proud that this New Year’s we got involved in the project Liceulice, and we are inviting everyone to support Liceulice and similar initiatives.”
The Liceulice organization has been conducting practical direct support programs for marginalized groups since 2010, with a view to their greater economic, cultural and social inclusion. The program is realized through several activities, and the most visible of them is the publishing of Liceulice magazine and its distribution through a network of sellers (network consisting of socially endangered and marginalized persons), who earn 50 percent of each sold sample.
