It is anticipated that the first working day, 2 September, will allow participants to get to know the organizational team and coordinators of modules: Research (Marijana Agić Molnar, GfK Belgrade), Media (Marija Matić, Direct Media), Creative (Svetlana Ćopić, Scholz & Friends), Digital (Aleksandar Nikolić, Communis DDB) and Business (Andreja Milkić, Leo Burnett Belgrade).
The campaign for the enrollment of the first generation of AcademIAA began a little more than two months ago and was aimed to inform the professional community about the new program, and to inform all potentially interested in attending a three-month training program (in cooperation with the agency Popular Bruketa & Žinić). Interested candidates have gone through two rounds of selection (motivation letter and online test), after which the AcademIAA team selected 25 most successful. Participants come from advertising agencies, marketing sectors of companies, among them three scholarship beneficiaries, or students.

On the occasion of the opening of the AcademIAA, Jelena Ivanović, CEO of IAA Serbia, said: “Organizing team of AcademIAA is very excited about the start of the program. Final preparations are in full swing, and we believe that everyone will feel good in their roles – lecturers will enjoy sharing their knowledge and experience with very talented young people, and students will learn intensively for three months and in this way they will improve and advance in their careers. For us, as the Association, it is very important that we have made a significant step forward in the field of education, and that the IAA authored a project that the entire profession has a lot of understanding for, and a desire to contribute to it.”
