Only good stories survive. This was the slogan of this year’s SOF, and one agency will certainly have a story to tell from this event, but more on that later. The most important event of the Slovenian communication profession in its jubilee anniversary brought a few changes that were well received by the visitors and competitors, as evidenced by over one thousand participants of the festival and 302 submitted works. “Behind us is a great festival that shined in all its creativity. The changes are often the key to success, and it was true this time as well. The jubilee 25th SOF is a turning point for all the festivals to come. I am honored that I was part of this experience. We hosted outstanding Slovenian speakers. I am convinced that the participants in the future festivals will prove that we Slovenes can confidently compete with good international practices,” President of the 25th SOF, Dolores Podbevšek Plemeniti sad at the closing of the conference.
The two-day festival event was concluded with the Golden Night award ceremony.
Špela Levičnik Oblak, CEO Luna\TBWA and regional CEO TBWA CEE Adriatic, was declared Advertising Person of the Year. Advertiser of the Year 2015 is Telekom Slovenia. Brand of the Year is Orto, Agency of the Year is PRISTOP. Furthermore, Tina Mozetič and Eva Stopar will be packing bags for the Young Lions competition in Cannes.

SOF acknowledgment for the best directing of an audiovisual ad went to Luna\TBWA, while the best directing of audio ad went to Radio Student. Acknowledgment for the best photo went to the agency Bright Visuals, BV Media, and for best illustration to PRISTOP. Agency YIN + YOUNG received the acknowledgment for the best copywriting.
