On the occasion of launching the MarTech community meetups initiative, DIRECT MEDIA United Solutions hosted the first in a series of monthly meetups at the ICT Hub in Belgrade at the end of March, featuring COO and Managing Director of DIRECT MEDIA United Solutions Jovan Stojanović and founder of the Hunch start-up Siniša Raković.
“Our market has a relatively small number of registered startups in the field of marketing, and yet it has great potential. This is because this industry is quite specific and you have to know it well enough to be able to create advanced solutions. At the same time, in our day-to-day work, we recognize situations where the advancement of technology would improve processes. That is why we started this initiative so that the annual MarTech meetups – through the experience of our most successful startups in this area, the experiences of the marketing community representatives and the insights into the examples from the global market – could bring us to the topics and ideas on whose development we want to work together in the future. We also want to choose the best MarTech start-up this year, but more on that in some of the following gatherings,” said Jovan Stojanović.
Siniša Raković, founder of one of the most successful startups in the field of advertising in this area, presented his entrepreneurial path, answered questions on how to scale your brands online, the ins and outs of the software that generates several hundred thousand ads, using creative automation and personalization.
“There should be as many such initiatives as possible to raise awareness of marketing technologies in these areas. On the Serbian market, there is room for development in the field of marketing and I believe that through the MarTech Challenge project there will be more and more teams involved in the field, because such initiatives can give companies and agencies the podium. Hunch’s cooperation with DIRECT MEDIA United Solutions is great, since they first recognized what we are doing, opened up their process, and pointed out what they needed. I think this is a bright future in every respect, and that it follows positive changes in brands and agencies when it comes to new technologies,” said Siniša Raković.
The next MarTech Challenge meetup in the ICT Hub will be organized in April. DIRECT MEDIA United Solutions has launched this initiative with the aim of stimulating the development of the local startup scene, and show that technologies and innovations can successfully change the marketing industry.
