Entries are open for an important event in the communications industry in our region – the Days of Communication. The new edition of the festival will be held in Rovinj, at Lone Hotel, from March 28 to March 31, 2019, and all interested can already reserve their place at the festival and accommodation in Rovinj.
“We invite 50 lecturers from Croatia and the world to the Days of Communication 2019. It’s not a small thing to have three days of opportunities to discuss with them, take a look at the present, peek into the future, talk about global changes that take place at our industry level – artificial intelligence and creativity, personalization of market communication and online privacy, voice technology, and similar topics we face on a daily basis,” said Director of the Days of Communication and Program Manager of the Festival Dunja Ivana Ballon.
In 2018, the festival was visited by 3,000 participants, recording an increase of 85% in just two years. Some of the speakers of the festival were Donald Trump’s campaign director Brad Parscale, the global creative director of Twitter Jayanta Jenkins, Siri (Susan Bennett), Peter Sunde (co-founder of The Pirate Bay), Alex Braun (PR expert and political consultant), Natasha Jen (partner at design studio Pentagram) and many others. The significance of the festival is confirmed by the support of more than 100 companies and the media, and the strength of its competition is illustrated by 244 entered projects, and 64 awards presented by a jury of 40 experts.
Early bird rates last until February 8, and along with entries reservations for accommodation are also open. These always get sold out quickly after the opening of the application process, so have that in mind. As in previous years, HURA and IAB members enjoy special discounts.
