OPEN LETTER BY KAMILO ANTOLOVIĆ
On the occasion of the decision to liquidate HURA as an association and its transformation into an organization, Kamilo Antolović, director of K&K Promotion, has sent an open letter which we publish in its entirety:
Regarding the unanimous conclusion of all members on the liquidation of the HURA Association, and the decision of most members on its transformation into HURA Organization, I feel obliged to state that:
1. This transformation does not ensure the continuity of HURA, neither through the content of key documents, the composition of founders and members, and even less through the methods of decision-making.
2. Such decision-making and reorganization, which does not ensure continuity, “excludes” one member (K&K PROMOTION), which due to such actions has no intention to submit new application for membership in HURA Organization.
Pertaining to the above, and rejecting such approach and method of work, as the initiator of the HURA, one of the co-founders, the former President of the Governing Board, a longstanding President and a member of the Court of Honor, and a very active member, I inform you that K&K POMOTION hereby submits a request for withdrawal from HURA-Association in liquidation, effective as of 31 December 2017.
I also hereby submit my irrevocable resignation as the member of the Court of Honor of HURA, as the member of the Board for Regulation and Self-Regulation, and the resignation to representation and “mandate” of HURA in HKKKI.
My status as co-founder in HUK-SRO is not related to the presentation of HURA!

DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES TO UEPS’ AWARDS IS 4 DECEMBER
Entry procedure for the UEPS 2017 competition is entering its second phase. The first cycle for early admission of works allowed members to apply with a discount, which resulted in a large number of quality works entered. In the last five years, there was not such a big response in the early stage as this year.
This year, the Association, based on the experiential knowledge of previous competitions and suggestions made by members, redefined the categories, adapting them to the current trends and the needs of creators. Awards are presented in 17 categories with subcategories, and are awarded to organizations, companies, institutions and agencies for the highest quality and most creative solutions in the past year.
Presentation of the prestigious awards (including the Dragan Sakan Prize, and a series of acknowledgments for the highest quality creative solutions from various marketing activities), as in previous years, will be held on the occasion of the Day of UEPS, on 21 December, at Atelje 212.
Entries will be received no later than 4 December 2017.

FAMOUS DIGITAL STRATEGIST EVANGELOS PAPATHANASSIOU IS COMING TO DIGITAL SHAPERS CONFERENCE

VIPNET BRINGING MOST INFLUENTIAL REGIONAL YOUTUBERS TO THE REBOOT INFOGAMER FAIR

OPEL SELECTS MEDIACOM AS NEW MEDIA AGENCY
Opel/Vauxhall will change its media agency at the beginning of 2018. As of January 1, the European market leader MediaCom will be responsible for the media strategy, the placement and the purchase of advertising space in all the European markets of Opel/Vauxhall. MediaCom follows the agency Carat, which had partnered Opel/Vauxhall in the previous eight years.
As already announced in June, MediaCom will also take over the media business of the three other Groupe PSA brands, Peugeot, Citroën and DS Automobiles at the beginning of the New Year.
