When was the last time you went to an exhibition, watched a play or listened to a concert? Excuses such as lack of money for expensive tickets “don’t hold water” when it comes to free cultural events.
With the desire to present the most precious works from the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade to the general public, under the motto “The biggest virtual setting of works of art,” agencies McCann Belgrade and Huge Media have developed an app that will allow everyone to enjoy the works from the rich collections of this museum. The app called msu ARt transforms ad formats such as billboards, city lights and print ads into works of art through augmented reality, presenting the virtual collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art.
All you need to do is download the free msu ARt app to your Android phone, scan an ad or a billboard, and the screen will display a work of art from the collection of the Museum together with additional interesting facts about the particular piece and/or the author. Each scanned ad reveals a new work of art whose details you can enjoy. For now it is possible to scan billboards, city lights and print ads of the companies that have supported the action, which are Coca-Cola, mts, Delhaize Serbia with their brands Maxi and Shop&Go, Bambi Plasma and Halkbank. Information on the positions of the ads and billboards that can be scanned are available on the in-app map.
Enjoy the works of art from the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade.
