PORTAL MEDIA MARKETING SOON IN SLOVENIAN LANGUAGE
English version of Media Marketing portal was launched on 01 December 2015, among other things in order to become closer to young Slovenes and Macedonians who don’t understand very well other languages of the ex-Yu region. The results are excellent, visits from Slovenia and Macedonia have increased significantly. Now Media Marketing is considering the possibility of becoming even closer to this demographic, by introducing the Slovenian language in which the portal would be published daily. Slovenian site would thus be localized, and in addition to news from the region and the world, it would also have more news from the Slovenian communication industry. This will also enable media agencies and advertisers from Slovenia new promotional opportunities on the portal.
Media Marketing is already in negotiations with interpreters and journalists from Slovenia to write for the site. After Slovenian, we plan to introduce Macedonian version as well.
This will confirm the position of Media Marketing as the most relevant media outlet of the regional communication industry.
WEEKEND MEDIA FESTIVAL PRESENTS
Fast and Furious – Gaming industry in the region: The further rise in smartphone penetration and the spread of broadband have enabled a new leap in gaming industry, to the incredible $74 billion in 2015. Companies in this segment are growing rapidly, and we also have very successful representatives in our region. Until recently the public looked at them like smart kids, and today we can learn a great deal from them. How does this global market function? How are companies from the region coping with global competition? What are the corporate cultures there, how to build a global marketing strategy and develop talent and business? Who are the key actors in the gaming industry in this region?
Blockchain – killer of bureaucracy: Can you imagine a world where you don’t need a public notary, and where you validate any contract with just one click? Can you imagine a world in which a birth certificate, marriage certificate or any other document can be obtained at any time from anywhere for free? Or a world in which money transfer to a friend in Canada is also free of charge? This world is possible through blockchain, the technology behind the most famous virtual currency Bitcoin. Although best known application of blockchain is in currencies, the possibilities that its development provides are far greater, and have the potential to completely change the world around us. Banks and various funds have already invested billions of dollars in development of blockchain. What are its possibilities? Who deals with blockchainom? How does it function? And most importantly, how will it affect your life and the life of your notary?
Answers to these and many other questions can be obtained at the Weekend Media Festival, which takes place from 22 to 25 September in Rovinj.

FACEBOOK CHANGING ITS PHOTOS
Facebook is introducing new changes to its news feed, and it’s about showing 360° photos.
Facebook opted for this move after introducing 360° video in September. Video is used on rare occasions, but this new option will enable users to see their panoramic photos in a “360° effect”.
Of course, it will also be possible to see the entire photo on screen. According to Mashable, Facebook’s app will support posting of 360° photos made with special cameras, but also with all today’s smartphones that support this feature.
Although many people dislike changes to their news feeds, this one might be interesting. (poslovni.hr)
