Arçelik Group, the parent company of the Beko brand, has won the prestigious Good Design Award for the excellent design of their coffee machines from the Telve collection. The Good Design award was presented for the 65th consecutive year by the Chicago Museum of Architecture and Design Athenaeum and Metropolitan Arts Press Ltd. for the most innovative industrial, graphic and product design from anywhere in the world. Award-winning products and graphics are included in the permanent collection of the museum.
Arçelik’s Telve collection includes machines for making traditional Turkish coffee, which have a unique design and a streamlined form. Unlike existing products, even the steam drains are elegantly designed with the use of “perforated” material, while the arrangement of buttons and LEDs in the steam drains contributes to the originality of the design and the simplicity and ease of use of the product, which is composed of wood, metal and leather.
Model K3300, the latest in Arçelik’s Telve collection, which has as many as 29 patents, has a base plate of stainless steel and “Cooksense” technology, which allows the preparation of traditional Turkish coffee with a lot of foam. In addition to having a system for the prevention of overflow, the coffee machine also gives a sound signal when the coffee is done. With this device you can make coffee for one person, or three persons at once, and thanks to its compact design it takes up very little space. The process starts with the pressing of a single button, which makes this machine very practical to use.
