Spectacular atmospheric phenomena above the Croatian island of Hvar, caught in a beautiful time lapse video and slow motion, were revealed by studio Romulić & Stojčić.
The creative duo, Mario Romulić and Dražen Stojčić, spent two years filming the skies over the island and fortunately ‘caught’ some spectacular lightning that they reproduced in slow motion and time lapse techniques.
They took well over 350,000 photographs, and for the film they selected ‘only’ the 10,000 that they found the most beautiful, and all were recorded from Hvar, with a few from Biokovo and Brač.
Besides the somewhat terrifying storms, you will also see the beautiful idyllic images of this island which has an average of 2,726 hours of sunshine a year.
Romulić & Stojčić have already attracted the attention of both national and international media with their viral time lapse video recordings of Croatia. Their company is engaged in photography and video production with an emphasis on marketing, hotel business and tourism.
Editing was done by Antun Balog, music by Hrvoje Petek, and special thanks for the project go to Jakša Kuzmičić.
