At the beginning of this year, Konzum BiH introduced a new technology for advertising at their stores, with which any store window can be turned into a digital billboard.
This is the first application of short range projectors on the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the help of which Konzum, on displays of its stores equipped with a special kind of smart foil, displays image ads and sale offers.
The company says they are happy with customer feedback, and we have had the chance to see first hand how successful this new form of advertising at the point of sale is at turning heads.
So far, more than 30 stores have been equipped with these projectors, and Konzum BiH is also planning to expand to other locations in its retail network.
According to Konzum, shoppers aren’t the only ones who are attracted by this new channel for delivery of promotional messages.
Given that 80% of purchasing decisions are made at the point of sale, this form of advertising is very interesting to suppliers and business partners as well, and the company plans to enable them to air their own marketing messages on their store windows.
