Legendary actress Tippi Hedren, today 88, is famous for her roles in Hitchcock’s The Birds (1963) and Marnie (1964), and now we have the chance to watch her again in the vibrant ads for Gucci.
Hedren plays a magnificent fortune teller in the new Gucci timepiece and jewelry campaign. She glazes over her crystal ball in a dimly lit, lushly furnished palm-reading joint. Her fingers gloriously entwined in Gucci jewelry as she peers into the future of several young truthseekers.
Millenials know Hedren as Dakota Johnson’s grandmother, who also starred in Gucci’s ads, and was the brand’s star in the campaign for Gucci Bloom.
The campaign includes photos for print, which were done by Colin Dodgson.
