The European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA) has announced the names of members of the jury who will decide on the winners of the Euro Effie Award 2018. Head of the jury is Adrian Farina, Senior Vice President in Visa Europe’s marketing, and he will be joined by three representatives from Croatia: Nina Pentek, Marketing Director at Erste Bank, Filip Rabuzin, Marketing Director at HEINEKEN Croatia and Ivan Šuvar, Director of Marketing and Consumer Excellence at Zagrebačka Pivovara.
Euro Effies is the annual competition that celebrates the best international commercial communication campaigns in Europe. Additionally, Euro Effies is a recognition of client and agency partnership, as well as a symbol of proven effectiveness of advertising.
The competition jury consists of professionals, both from agencies and clients, from 20 European countries. Their experience, knowledge and expertise will contribute to choosing the best campaigns. In the period frp,4 to 15 June, the jury will decide on finalists for the second round that will be held on June 28. The jury takes into account the broader range of qualities of each campaign to determine which campaigns deserve to enter the second round and potentially win the awards. Qualities are divided into four categories: Strategic Challenge, Creative Strategy, Execution of the Idea and Efficiency.
President of the jury Adrian Farina said of the awards: “I am honored to be presiding this year’s Euro Effie jury. I believe that the award for efficiency is the most important achievement that a marketing campaign can aspire to.”
