“The first round of jury is an important part of Effie’s process and the fact that it has been successfully implemented, in terms of respecting the rules and standards of this international competition, is a good sign for the IAA Serbia as an organizer, but also our entire industry. Our jury is one of the most reputable not only in Europe but also in the world, having in mind the fact that this Festival is held in 42 countries. Also, a good sign for the industry is a large number of reported works in as many as 17 categories. Effie is increasingly recognized as an acknowledgment that is given to successful marketing activities that have achieved or exceeded the set goals of brands and companies. I would really like to thank all those who have in any way supported the Effie Awards this year,” said Jelena Ivanovic, Executive Director of IAA Serbia.
The first round jury included 44 experts in the field of marketing communications, who had the task of choosing the most effective ones from the dozens of works they received.
Judging took place during two days, and was moderated by the Vice-President of the Jury, Jelena Šarenac (Henkel) and President Srđan Bogosavljević (Ipsos).
The final jury session round is scheduled for May 11, and the most successful entries will be rewarded at the gala ceremony on June 13th.
