Leading global and digital experts are coming to the largest regional conference on digital trends, Digital Takeover, to share with the participants their practical knowledge and skills. Through a rich 10-hour program, organizer of Digital Takeover, 24sata, wants to encourage the transformation of Croatian digital scene with 14 different lectures, workshops, brainsnacks and panels in three halls of the Zagreb Cinestar on 14 March 2017, beginning at 9:00 am.
Among other things, participants will have the opportunity to attend a lecture by Uber’s managing director for Central and Eastern Europe Rob Khazzam which will focus on the positive experience that digital transformation brings, particularly in the field of urban mobility, with the examples from practice in the countries which are pioneering the implementation of modern regulations. On the other side, a lecture about how Viber became one of the most important players in the digital (r)evolution will be given by director of operations of Viber for Russia and the CIS region Evgeniy Roshchupkin.
What is needed for successful, personalized and measurable digital campaigns and which digital tools to use in order to send the right message at the right time to the right person, participants will learn from Google’s Damian Huba. In order to understand which structural changes are being caused by digitization, why it is happening and in which direction will it develop, we must forget everything we’ve learned during the age of mass communication. This phenomenon of “mental transformation”, as Klemens Skibicki calls it, will be the theme of his lecture, and he will also present the digital tools that he deems necessary for the successful understanding of clients’ needs.
The panel Creating a Culture for Digital Transformation in Your Business will bring together leading Croatian names from the world of Digital: Davor Bruketa from the advertising agency Bruketa & Žinić OM, CEO of agency Drap Davor Runje, director of the corporate department at Croatian Telecom Nina Išek Međugorac, cultural entrepreneur and investor Nenad Bakić, while the panel will be moderated by Karlo Stojčević, CEO of agency Red Point and member of the Management Boards in agencies Pixsell and Newsroom.
Making sure that the whole thing won’t stop at lectures, Algebra, the educational partner of the conference, is preparing workshops where participants will develop practical digital skills. Sales and Marketing director at H1 Telekom Senad Kulenović will lead a workshop on how to plan a strategy of digital transformation, and what is the key to a good strategy.
How to take advantage of digital data sources that are largely available today and what companies can do with them, will be explained at the workshop led by Algebra lecturer and Director of Business Development at Innovation Center T-HT Marijo Volarević.
An ideal continuation to the Roschupkin’s lecture about Viber comes from Daniela Ivanova and Zarena Kancheva who will hold a workshop “Viber for businessmen – 5 steps to more followers!” at which participants will discover more about the evolution of Viber’s services tailored to meet customer needs, as well as hear some useful advice on how to gain growing number of followers.
In an innovative series of short-form lectures, ie. brainsnacks, Aleksandra Đermanović from Mediacom will give a lecture titled “New Rules of Engagement” pointing to changes brought by digitalization. Nikša Gopčević in his presentation will focus on the experiences of Styria Digital Services in the field of web and mobile technologies that are the basis for the digital transformation of Styria towards “digital only” future of the media industry.
Participants of Digital Takeover will also have a unique opportunity to attend the world premiere of strategic tool PROMETHEJ – a complex algorithm that ensures brands profitability of their marketing investments. Karlo Stojčević will present a tool based on the research of Nobel Prize winning psychologist Daniel Kahneman.
How JoomBoose became the fastest growing network of YouTube channels in Croatia and the region, and what have Millenials and Z generation done to make this platform the most influential brand among young people, will be presented by the manager of this project, Matej Lončarić.
