Just one month separates us from the musical spectacle that will gather over 150,000 people in Split. Heineken and Ultra Europe festival are marking the fourth year of collaboration, and at the press conference held Friday at the La Bodega bar, their representatives revealed what they’re preparing for lovers of electronic music in the new edition of this world-famous festival.
This year’s big news is also the packaging of Heineken, which carries the name of the festival, Ultra Europe. Bottles and cans have recently become available in stores and restaurants all over Croatia. “This is the first time that the name of Ultra Europe found itself on the packaging of an international product. We are proud that in this way two global brands get together and promote Croatia and music,” said Roberto Giugliano, director of marketing for Heineken Croatia, who also presented a new edition of the Heineken Ultra DJ contest. Thanks to this contest, talented DJs, amateurs and professionals from Croatia and the world have a unique opportunity: to play a DJ set lasting 60 minutes at UMF Radio Stage this summer in Split.

Therefore we have created a global platform Live Your Music that celebrates musical experiences that make people enjoy life and music they love even more. On the official website of the Heineken Ultra DJ contest (www.ultra-djcontest.com), DJs can upload their mixes until 19 June. The top 20 will be chosen from 20 to 26 of June by the public, and the winners, who will perform in front of a mass audience, will be decided by jury on 29 June.
Anita Palac, marketing director of the festival Ultra Europe, stressed the importance of this cooperation: “For several years now Heineken has been our important and loyal partner and we are very proud of the high quality of cooperation which our two brands built. We wish to provide our visitors at the festival the best possible experience when it comes to music, but also products. We are sure that the Ultra Europe 2016 will be by far the best festival experience that will push the boundaries.”
