Imago will take over the development of the creative communications of Tele2, which, after many years, is finally operating locally, rather than taking a global communication platform. With its new strategic positioning Tele2 aims always to surprise and delight, and thus brave the field of the unexpected, while Imago’s task is to find appropriate creative solutions.
This gave rise to the creative platform Circus, inspired by a real circus and its accompanying characters, which for centuries have managed to exceed the expectations of their visitors. Thus, Tele2’s circus people will entertain us in the foreseeable future on TV and other communication channels. The Circus idea is placed in an office environment, in order to emphasize the element of the unexpected. At the end of the story there is a new slogan, TA-DAA!, as a universally recognizable signature, regardless of language barriers.
“It’s a great pleasure to work on the development of a communication platform for such a large client. Especially when the creative concept is this brave. There is even greater pleasure in coming up with a slogan that actually doesn’t contain a single word, and which everyone can understand,” said Marko Matijašević, senior copywriter at Imago advertising agency.
“The way in which Tele2 communicates has always been different, interesting and challenging. Now we add a note of the unexpected to it, which will best communicate the new strategy of Tele2. With a strong partner like Imago, we are confident that we will make a new, very attractive Tele2 story in this market,” said Maja Čulig, head of marketing communications at Tele2.
