The Future Tense conference, which was held in Zagreb in October, won the second place in the Event of the Year category at the prestigious Eventiada IPRA Golden World Awards in Moscow. The Future Tense is a project by agency Komunikacijski laboratorij, where four world-renowned futurologists spoke about the future of business, development of technology and its impact on humanity, future of payments, smart cities and the future of nutrition. The project has won the second place on the basis of innovation, compliance with international standards, quality of research, planning and implementation, as well as project results and project evaluation. The competition included projects from 13 countries, from Russia, Latvia, Poland, Hungary, to Croatia and Serbia.
Manuela Šola, owner and director of the award-winning agency Komunikacijski laboratorij said: “We are proud of another acknowledgment received by the Future Tense project. The most important thing for us at the Komunikacijski laboratorij is that we managed to gather more than 400 participants from Croatia, from company CEOs to small entrepreneurs and public administration representatives, who were ready to open themselves to new ways of thinking. Of course, it’s an additional pleasure to get recognition for Event of the Year, in a country whose market and budgets are many times larger than the ones we see in our everyday business, and this is an indication that success is possible if you are dedicated and focused on achieving the goal. We have already started preparations for the next Future Tense in October 2019.”
Winning projects were selected by an international IPRA GWA jury, in five categories: categorical nomination, corporate and public sector, healthy lifestyle, youth projects and category of school students. Future Tense won the Event of the Year in the category corporate and public sector.
