On 29 and 30 November, the Grand Hotel Bernardin in Portorož, Slovenia, will host more than 1,200 media-communication professionals, who will dedicate two days to learning about global trends in marketing, media and communications. The jubilee 20th SEMPL announces a great program and equally awesome entertainment.
The introductory lecture will break the myths about “malicious” technologies
20th SEMPL will be opened by a British-American duo from the global consulting firm Kaleidoko, with the lecture they titled “The Majority Report: Media Opportunities in 2030”. Dean Donaldson and Jonathan Tavss, directors and co-founders of the company, which co-operates with numerous startups and companies from the Fortune 100 list, announce that the world by 2030 could change incredibly fast. Sci-Fi literature and film industry mostly show us only the dark side of technological advancement, so they are coming to enlighten us about the opportunities that the future brings, and how we can adapt in order to utilize the human factor in the world of artificial intelligence, blockchain data technology and genetics.
One of the most reputable analysts of the region is coming
One of the most well-known regional internet analytics experts, speaker and psychologist Robert Petković from the Zagreb based Bruketa&Žinić&Grey Agency, also has a mix of tech and psychology embedded into his DNA. We assign increasingly more importance to data, but we still use and interpret them incorrectly. Robert will reveal when and how we can use certain metrics in digital marketing.
Do you know why the innovation culture is so difficult to reach?
Our brain can be taught to know how to create new ideas. Through simple thought-provoking games of association, we can stimulate creativity and teach every individual in the organization how to think innovatively. Lon Safko, a serial innovator and inventor, probably needs no introduction. Fact that even Apple “steals” his inventions speaks more than enough about this charismatic American who will show the main factors that hinder the creativity of your company during his workshop, and at the same time will provide participants with the tools and knowledge to overcome these obstacles.
Detailed program of the 20th SEMPL can be found on the official conference website, where all speakers are presented in more detail.
