Through scoring the importance of festivals held in the Adriatic region, and all the awards presented at these festivals, we came to the exact order of the most successful campaigns, agencies and advertisers in 2018.

Everyone single one of them have rightfully taken their place in the Creative Portfolio 02, which goes to the press this week.

As a sweet sneak peak, today we present you with the Top10 campaigns that communicated brand messages in the most creative and efficient manner.

Six of them spoke about socially important issues, six came from Belgrade agencies, and all 10 were done for completely different clients.

Congratulations to all who in any way participated in creating these campaigns, making 2018 a fruitful year for the communication industry of the Adriatic Region!

  1. #Unwanted, McCann Podgorica and McCann Beograd for NGO Women Rights Centre Podgorica

Since it started its festival rounds at BalCannes in September 2018, the #unwanted campaign was awarded high scores by all the juries in the region, including the most prestigious one at the Golden Drum festival. It saved lives, and many of us wished to be part of this project!

  1. Munchmallow – A Story for Itself, Ovation BBDO Beograd for Jaffa

Munchmallow’s story reminded us all of the carefree childhood. At BalCannes, it was declared the best campaign conducted in multiple markets in the region.

SONY DSC
  1. One Poster for Peace – New Moment New Ideas Company for the Inter-religious Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina

One Poster for Peace continued the mission of The One Book, once again through the art of Islam and Christianity, showing that there is much more that connects these two religions than what separates them.

  1. Check It!, Saatchi&Saatchi / Publicis Groupe Serbia for Avon Cosmetics

Saatchi & Saatchi Belgrade’s great idea taught many people how to do self-check, and thus contributed to early detection of breast cancer.

  1. Red Ball, New Moment New Ideas Company for Hemofarm foundation

More than 50,000 people die each year in Serbia due to high blood pressure. New Moment New Ideas Company’s Red Ball campaign creatively raised awareness of the importance of early prevention of this silent killer.

  1. The Secret of Brilliant Digestion, Pristop Ljubljana for Atlantic Group

The secret of brilliant digestion is the only campaign in this list that was awarded at only one festival. Ljubljana agency Pristop, among other things, at the Slovenian Advertising Festival made brilliant success with their campaign for DonatMg, to the extent that it collected enough points to join the Top 10 most successful in 2018.

  1. Real-life Escape Room, Agencija 101 Ljubljana for Unicef Slovenia

The Real-Life Escape Room campaign has achieved a lot in the Slovenian public, giving voice to the issue of sexual violence against children. Among other things, the jury of Sempl awarded the Ljubljana based Agency 101 the top honour for media strategy of the year for this project.

  1. Heroes Drive in Pyjamas, Luna \TBWA Ljubljana for Zavod Vozim

Luna \ TBWA Ljubljana adapted several cars to disabled drivers who have been injured in traffic accidents. For several nights, they safely and free of charge transported young people in parts of Slovenia where there is no taxi service or public transportation in late night hours, and where there are more traffic accidents caused by drunk driving. Once again, lives were saved in 2018.

  1. Catch the Golden Fish, Communis DDB Belgrade for Bambi

Communis’ Goldfish raised the sales of Bambi Josh by a record-breaking 43%!

  1. Moms and Dads Rule, BBDO Zagreb for Zagrebačka pivovara
