L’Oréal Paris is already globally known for supporting the most exclusive events, and in Sarajevo it once again confirmed its role as a brand that connects glamour, beauty, and social values. Their partnership with SFF is not limited to make-up, but is also an opportunity to highlight the brand’s mission – to inspire and encourage women to believe in themselves.
At this year’s Festival, they enriched their presence with the screening of the short documentary film “The Final Copy of Ilon Specht.” Their iconic slogan “Because You’re Worth It” turned into a feminist manifesto that changed advertising forever. The work of two-time Oscar winner Ben Proudfoot delivers an intimate story of a young copywriter at the McCann agency, who dared to defy the norms of her time and succeeded in creating a message that forever marked the industry. In the film, Specht delivers her emotional final speech, reminding audiences of the power of a simple sentence that became a global symbol of women’s value and self-confidence. Her creativity shaped the foundations of L’Oréal Paris’ mission and inspired a movement that, for more than half a century, has been encouraging women around the world to set their own beauty standards.
“I’M WORTH IT” on the Sarajevo red carpet
A special moment of glamour took place on the SFF red carpet when L’Oréal Paris ambassadors Ida Prester, Olja Lević, and Maja Bučanin shone in stunning creations by Bosnian designers Armin Hadžić and Amna Hasanbegović. Highlighting the elegance and sophistication represented by the brand, their appearance on the red carpet perfectly combined the international glamour of L’Oréal Paris with local fashion talent.

L’Oréal Paris Gala Evening
The L’Oréal Paris Gala Evening in Vijećnica traditionally gathered numerous guests and brought a blend of art and glamour. The brand’s ambassadors and guests had the opportunity to enjoy a night dedicated not only to beauty, but also to the strength and unique stories of women. The magical setting of Sarajevo’s City Hall further enhanced the atmosphere of this event, turning it into a night to remember. The gala also resonated on digital platforms – social media was flooded with stories and posts, through which L’Oréal Paris further amplified its online presence, confirming it as one of the most anticipated moments of the festival.

Beauty Pavilion and Global Trends
L’Oréal Paris is known for setting global trends, and major events like the Sarajevo Film Festival are an opportunity to present its novelties before a large audience. Over the course of seven days, L’Oréal Paris brought together its team of regional make-up artists who created flawless looks for festival guests on a daily basis. The pavilion showcased some of the brand’s newest products and global beauty trends, such as the Big Deal Mascara, True Match Foundation, and many others that were behind this year’s glamorous red carpet appearances.
With its presence at the Sarajevo Film Festival, L’Oréal Paris stood out as an example of best practice, showing how a partnership can go beyond sponsorship and become an integral part of the event. Through carefully designed activities – from the red carpet and gala evening to the beauty pavilion and strong digital presence, the brand focused on a campaign that is more than just a slogan. With its events, L’Oréal Paris not only promoted the brand but also initiated dialogues on the topics of equal rights and self-confidence. What matters is creating a narrative and delivering experiences for the audience in order to build genuine connections. “Because You’re Worth It” at this year’s Festival became a glamorous, educational, and inspirational experience.
