Serbia’s best young creative couples have been announced as part of the Young Lions Serbia 2019, organized by B92 and UEPS as a local partner for Serbia, with creative and technical support from FCB Afirma.

At the ceremony at the Radisson Blu Hotel, awards were presented to the winners in the Print, Digital and Media categories for which Serbia registered this year at the International Young Lions competition at the festival in Cannes.

The winners by categories are:

  1. PRINT – Vladimir Kondžulović and Ikonija Zdravković, agency Drive – It’s important that you hear each other
  2. DIGITAL – Igor Maršićević and Ivana Knežević, agency Drive – ‘Because I say so’ is not an argument
  3. MEDIA – Jovan Savić and Aleksandra Kojić, agency Block&Roll – Listen to our voice!

The jury of renowned Serbian experts, Slavimir Stojanović, the jury president, Anja Radulović, deputy president, and members Svetlana Ćopić, Ivan Nikolić, Veljko Golubović, Božidar Dimić and Jana Savić Rastovac, selected the project “Because I say so is not an argument” by Igor Maršićević and Ivana Knežević as the overall winner of this year’s competition, so this young couple will represent Serbia at the most prestigious global competition for young creatives in Cannes, where they will test their skills against colleagues from around the world.

The first prize is a fully paid trip to the Cannes Young Lions, and winners by categories also received sets of books. Individual books were also presented to all the participants of the Young Lions Serbia competition, which this year attracted many young creatives who see it as a chance to make a name for themselves. The highest number of entries this year was reported in the Digital category.
