Professional associations (IAA, IAB, UEPS and Media Association), in cooperation with the Association for Creative Industries of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, are organizing a presentation of Serbia’s new Advertising Law on 12 April, in the Great Hall of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
The aim of the event is to introduce the profession and members of associations to the content of the Law, its new elements, the way it will be implemented and monitored, and to highlight areas that should be given particular attention:
What are the key new features of the new Law?
How will its implementation affect daily business?
What will creators of commercial messages have to be aware of before they address consumers?
What is allowed in advertising and under what conditions?
How does the new Law treat children and minors?
What does the question of self-regulation actually mean and what are the opportunities for the profession?
The presentation of the new Law on Advertising will be given by Vanda Kučera, Director of Corporate Affairs, I&F McCann Group, and lawyer Miloš Stojković, an expert in media and telecommunications from the law firm Živković/Samardžić. The event will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications – Dušica Đorđević (Head of the Unit for Regulatory Affairs and Legal Harmonization), Ljubiša Kuvekalović (Senior Legal Adviser), and members of the Working Group for drafting the Law: Dalila Ljubičić (Media Association), Milica Stefanović (The Coca-Cola Company), Miloš Simić (IAA Serbia), as well as representatives of professional associations.
