Entries are now open for the sixth edition of the Campaigns with a Purpose Festival, dedicated to socially responsible communication in Serbia and the region. Companies, institutions, foundations, civil society organizations and agencies can submit their campaigns until October 19, while the awards will be presented on November 20 in Belgrade, on World Children’s Day.

Campaigns carried out during 2025 and 2026 are eligible to enter, and this year the Festival once again divides them into three categories. YELLOW/SOCIAL covers campaigns focused on the wellbeing of children, individuals, communities and society, GREEN/ECO includes projects dedicated to environmental protection, climate and natural resources, as well as responsible production and consumption, while RED/GENDER is intended for campaigns that contribute to gender equality and improving the position of women.

The best campaign in each category will receive a Grand Prix, while the best campaign in the overall competition will receive the Festival Golden Grand Prix.

The Festival was launched in 2021 with the idea that communication can have a broader social role than supporting business goals, particularly when it makes important social and environmental issues visible, starts conversations and influences attitudes, behaviour and decisions.

This year’s framework places additional emphasis on the connection between communication and the actual actions of organizations. The seventeen United Nations Sustainable Development Goals provide the basis according to which the Festival categories are grouped, while ESG principles are seen as one of the ways organizations incorporate environmental, social and governance issues into business decisions.

At the same time, the Festival does not view communication only as a way of presenting results that have already been achieved. The focus is also on campaigns that can make a problem visible, open up an issue, encourage decisions or guide organizations towards more responsible practices.

Evaluation will not be based exclusively on quantitative indicators. The Festival states that the relevance of the topic, quality of insight, achieved results and the campaign’s ability to change attitudes, initiate dialogue and create long-term value for the community will also be taken into account.

Tijana Adamov Ignjatović, founder of the Campaigns with a Purpose Festival and the Žute Patalone initiative, recalls that the platform began with campaigns focused on the wellbeing of children, individuals and society, before opening up space for a broader range of issues important to people and the planet.

The submitted campaigns will be evaluated by an expert jury consisting of representatives of companies, foundations, the civil sector, academia, media and the creative industry, as well as international experts in responsible communication.

The jury will be chaired by Prof. Dr. Milica Kostić-Stanković, full professor at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Belgrade and Head of the Department of Marketing Management and Public Relations.

The jury also includes Marija Beslać, Director of Communications and Partnerships at the Nordeus Foundation, Željka Ćirić Jakovljević, Head of Communication at UniCredit Bank Serbia, Sonja Dragojević, Chief Collaboration Officer at New Startegy, Suzana Đorđević, Director of the Hemofarm Foundation, Thomas Kolster of Mr. Goodvertising, Tijana Koprivica, Director of Sustainable Business at Delta Holding, Marko Maršićević, founder of MARSH Creative Production, Marija Mitrović, Director of the Philanthropy Program at the Trag Foundation, Jelena Šarenac, Director of Corporate Communications at Henkel Adriatics, Maja Vidaković of Beyond Business, Draga Živojnović, Editor of the Cultural and Educational Program at RTS, and Dr. Maja Petrašinović Nikolić, Head of the Marketing and Public Relations Unit at NALED.

The Campaigns with a Purpose platform also addressed the relationship between responsible action and communication in March through the professional program WARM UP HUSH UP 2026, dedicated to greenwashing, greenhushing and decision-making in sustainability communication.

Entries for the Festival are open until October 19, 2026, while the awards ceremony will be held on November 20 at Marsh Open Space.
