Legend has it that one night in Hvar, a moment of coincidence connected wine connoisseur Bozen Rumenic and wine maker Tonci Marijan. Merging two worlds into one bottle, two vineyards, 143 kilometres apart. Years of hard work, excellence, love of wine, and one moment of coincidence at a restaurant created this limited series of exquisite wine called “Slučajno” (“By chance”). Its blend, author, approach and character is quite unexpected, so this wine needed a different approach of design execution. It follows the birth of the wine from the start — from the moment the first grapes were picked near Zadar, told by subtle relation of paper and foil; to ageing in oak barrels of Hvar and its grapes, forever engraved in glass.

Tonci Marijan founded Marijan boutique winery, based in a small mediterranean village on island of Hvar in the heart of Adriatic where he produces limited series of 1000 bottles per label. Decanter Magazine awarded his Plavac sort with gold, first time for that sort of wine in Croatia. Passionate about his approach, underlined by technical excellence, his customers always look for something exquisite and unforgettable.
