In the summer of 2017, McCann Oslo and Peugeot went for a road trip spanning from the east to the far north of Norway to find the most awe-inspiring and beautiful spots along the way. The result was OmVeier (Detours) – a project resulting in everything from a hard copy book filled with exciting experiences along Norwegian roads, ads and a whole years’ worth of online content.
McCann’s hired guns, photographer Sverre Hjørnevik and writer Hallgeir Opedal, got the task of documenting all the sites and inspire the readers to embark on a real adventure in their own country. The material became the basis for creating Peugeot’s international content for commercials and social networks – and in Norway, every new Peugeot owner got their own hard copy of “OmVeier” for the road ahead.
