The answer to the question of how to best highlight the importance of research, development and innovation as the driving force behind the Croatian economy is the theme of the forthcoming conference called “National Innovation System for a more competitive Croatia” organized by the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts of Croatia, which will be held on March 11, 2019 in the hotel Sheraton, Zagreb.
One of the goals of the conference is to present the activities that are being carried out to establish an effective and sustainable national innovation system.
Presentations by Croatian officials, eminent domestic and international experts and a panel discussion involving the presidents of the thematic innovation councils will talk about the national innovation system and the roles of its stakeholders in creating new business opportunities, smart specialization and encouraging innovation through collaboration between business and scientific research community.
