But with the World Cup 2018 fast approaching, and promising to be the event with the highest ever watched event in history, Fox Sports and Wieden & Kennedy New York have launched an action packed campaign to hype up the U.S., with some quite surprising celebrities pitching in.
From staple football legends such as Lionel Messi, who becomes an anime “god” in the ad, over David Beckham who is chilling out with Deadpool of all people, to Mike Tyson admiring another famous “biter”, Luis Suarez.
This is just one of the spots, with others focusing on other aspects tailored to the markets they are aimed at.
