After two years of existence, Internet Marketing Meetup Zagreb, the largest business and marketing meetup in Croatia and the third largest meetup in general in Croatia, is putting on new clothes and is becoming even better, bigger and more meaningful.
Under its new name, Marketing Meetup, it will gather all the devotees and professionals in the field of online and offline marketing, PR, business people, startuppers, designers, students and all those interested in the marketing industry.
In less than two years since its inception, Internet Marketing Meetup Zagreb has gathered up hundreds of fans of digital marketing. Through a combination of lectures and meetings in a relaxed atmosphere, the subjects discussed have included e-commerce, SEO, Google and many other topics.
But, as usually happens, children must grow up, so the organizers decided to discard the prefix “internet” in order to expand the range of topics to other areas of marketing and business, hoping to become the largest regional gathering of all those who are interested in a high-quality marketing approach. By bringing together a broader range of professionals, Marketing Meetup connects online and offline marketing methods in order to raise the overall quality of marketing in Croatia, and also in the region. By changing its previous direction, Marketing Meetup brings us another step closer to the level of major marketing hubs in Europe.
More detailed information about the meetup can be found on their official website, on their Facebook page or under the official hashtag #marketingmeetup.
“Hashtag Your Mother” by Tomislav Krajačić
The 14th meeting of the group brings big changes, and an interesting lecture has been prepared for the occasion.
Hashtag Your Mother is the title of the lecture by Tomislav Krajačić, CCO/CEO of marketing agency Kofein.
Headline as an insult? It’s also an insult when “experts” place a hashtag in front of some word and think that they’ve created a masterpiece of (digital) advertising
Is digital marketing too focused on analytical tools, thereby neglecting one of the pillars of marketing – creativity? Have we come to a point where we need to start talking about the return of marketing to its original state in which numbers and creativity meet, creating comprehensive and cutting-edge marketing campaigns? Are we really stronger together? Will the long-separated twins of marketing finally find each other after years of separation? Are offline and online marketing the same as Gabriela Spanic in La Usurpadora?
Tomislav Krajačić is head of the marketing agency Kofein. The agency was founded in 2012, and in record time has become one of the biggest advertising agencies in Croatia. Kofein proudly points out that creativity is their greatest strength, which is why they are called a “creative agency”, and with their methodical and thoughtful approach they have won the trust of major clients such as HPB, DM, Toyota, Renault, Nissan and many others.
