Gerety Awards has announced the winners for 2026, with three campaigns at the top of the list jointly winning four Grand Prix awards. The most went to The KitKat Heist by VML UK for KitKat, which was awarded a Grand Prix in two PR categories.

The campaign won in Communication CUT-PR, as well as in the new Moments CUT-PR category introduced this year. The remaining two Grand Prix awards went to No Project Without Drama for HORNBACH, created by HeimatTBWA\ Berlin, and The Count for SickKids.

No Project Without Drama received the top award in the Craft CUT-Production Design category, while The Count was awarded in Craft CUT-Music. The music for the campaign was created by Soundtree Music, while the work was developed for FCB Canada.

This year’s list includes a total of four Grand Prix, 34 Gold, 69 Silver and 75 Bronze awards. The results also include the first recognition for Tunisia.

The winners were selected by more than 250 jury members from over 50 countries, representing the fields of advertising, marketing, production, design and media.

Comments from members of the Grand Jury show that one of the main criteria connecting the strongest work was its ability to earn the audience’s attention through the idea itself, rather than trying to force it through the volume of communication.

The KitKat Heist stood out particularly in this context. Dipshika Ravi, National Creative Director at Schbang in India, said the campaign turned a brand “accident” into the idea itself, and the stealing of KitKats into communication, PR and a cultural conversation.

“For me, that is one of the key qualities of Grand Prix-level work: the idea is so well constructed that it doesn’t feel like advertising, but like something you want to engage with until the very end,” Ravi said.

Maria Milusheva, CCO at OM Group & MUCH BETTER in Bulgaria, highlighted attention as something technology itself still cannot produce. According to her, KitKat made the problem public and invited the audience to take part in solving it, which required courage and audacity.

Imen Gharbi, Managing Director at Doze Agency in Tunisia, also pointed to the simplicity of the best ideas, stressing that behind their apparent effortlessness lie craft precision, cultural understanding and careful execution.

The jury also sees a broader common denominator among the winning work in its ability to function beyond a single market or creative formula. Alejandra Fehrmann, Global Communications Executive, said the best ideas travel precisely because they surprise, create emotion and change the way audiences see something.

This year’s jury will continue discussing the trends and campaigns that marked the 2026 edition through the Gerety Grand Jury Insight panels during the week, while the complete list of winners is available on the Gerety Awards website.
