IAB MIXX Grand Prix for “Thank you, doctors” and McCann Beograd

The Coca-Cola Company, McCann Beograd, and Drive multiple award winners at the IAB MIXX festival

“Thank you, doctors” campaign won the IAB MIXX Grand Prix, the most prestigious award of the festival, as well as the Best campaign – COVID19 Crisis award, and McCann Beograd and Drive have been awarded for the Mystical tour campaign for The Coca-Cola Company in two categories – Best Cross Media Integration (branded storytelling with special communication created for various offline and online channels), and Best Innovation, campaigns which show innovative use of technology interactivity combining non-conventional techniques of product advertising. Both campaigns were realized in cooperation with UM Beograd media agency.

“We thank our partners and clients for their openness and energy in creating unconventional campaigns, as well as the teams of our agencies for their creativity and dedication. We believe that every brand should have a meaningful role in today’s world, and we are very proud that these two projects have found their place in the times we live in, “said Jana Savić Rastovac, Executive Creative Director at McCann Beograd.

“We are very proud of the awards won because they confirm that companies and brands can stand out from the competition and reach their consumers by using new technologies and innovative communication channels. Technology allows us to push the boundaries on the brand-consumer line and that is why the message and content must be tailored to a specific moment. That is, of course, the basis, but the real challenge lays in creating fun content that reaches the right people in different contexts. Each new platform puts us in front of a new challenge. It is up to us to respond to these challenges by creating a digital map on which brands will be positioned so that they are remembered,” said Danka Trbojević, Managing Director of the Drive agency.

IAB MIXX Awards (Marketing and Interactive Excellence Awards), an internationally recognized competition for digital campaigns and projects in Serbia, is the only global competition that is 100% – digital, and this year it was held for the fourth time.

In 2019, Drive & McCann Beograd won The Best Innovation award with the “Schweppes Character manual” campaign for Coca-Cola Company.

    EKREM DUPANOVIĆ, founder of Media Marketing portal, author of the Creative Portfolio He started working in the advertising and PR industry 54 years ago (in 1970). For the first 15 years, he worked in the economic and advertising program of Radio Sarajevo (1970-1985), after which he joined the marketing agency OSSA, where he led the sports marketing team for five years. He worked on sponsorship projects for major international events, such as the Winter Olympic Games Sarajevo 1984, the World Cup Ski Finals Sarajevo 1987 (marketing director), the European Athletics Championships "Split 1990" (marketing director), the World Ski Flying Championships "Planica 1994," and others. He managed the sponsorship of Monica Seles from her early days to becoming the world’s number one female tennis player. He is the author of the Woman.Comm Club project, which is successfully expanding in all countries of the Adriatic region.
